In 2013 I painted 2 portraits of Biggie and Tupac and reimagined them as Hip-Hop Royalty. My vision was to produce works that were inspired by The Masters of...
"Anywhere But Here" is based off a painting I worked on back in the UK last year. I was going through a rough time and decided to revisit old themes in my work that I enjoyed creating. The idea behind the woman gazing out the window represents a positive outlook.

Lost for words is a short film that follows Amar Stewart's life after beating Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a form of cancer that has changed his outlook on life. After discovering an aggressive tumor on his tongue, the only option for him was to have a total glossectomy, the full removal of his tongue amongst other invasive treatments.

I was recently commissioned to paint a portrait of Biggie for Angie Martinez, The Voice of New York.
